Origami Installation
We created the cranes through origami, the only difference is we used very large pieces of paper. After folding the origami into cranes we thought as a class it would be great to hang them in flocks in the main lobby. Once we began to hang the cranes, we learned it was harder than we had expected it to be. We quickly learned that patience was key. When we finally got all the cranes on a string, we began to tie them so they were facing one point. As we were hanging the second flock the first fell, and then more and more continued to fall as we went on. The process of planning the cranes was much easier than making than making the actual product.
